Live Print Demos
Participants are invited to create an original woodblock print of “Glint & Glimmer” by Liv M. Johnson, presented by PrintHouston during the Affordable Art Fair. Attendees will gain first-hand experience in relief printmaking techniques. Led by Liv M. Johnson and Tess Doyle, these instructional demonstrations will guide participants through each step of carving and printing a relief block.

A Statement from the President
The importance and beauty of original prints! We are here to communicate our love of prints and to educate about their value and the joy of collecting them. We do this by exposing the public to as many artists and printmaking techniques as we can through exhibitions, events, and technical demonstrations. The appreciation of original prints occurs on many levels, from responding to artistic expression to understanding the skill required to accomplish its many techniques and the knowledge of the inks and paper/ materials used to make them. Printmaking is quite an extraordinary process!
