Get Ready for Our 9th, Month-Long Celebration of Prints!

PrintHouston is pleased to announce PrintHouston 2024, the ninth city-wide celebration of original prints, the artists who create them and the people who collect them!

We are pleased to announce that Larissa Goldston, director of Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE), will be our special guest this year. ULAE is a fine art print publisher established in 1957 by Tatyana Grosman. Today, ULAE continues to publish limited editions for artists.

Houston-area galleries, museums, institutions and alternative spaces are scheduled to showcase the diversity of printmaking art forms with exhibitions, artist talks, workshops and more. The continuous growth of PrintHouston, with expected attendance of over 5,000 print enthusiasts, attracts national and international artists to participate in the largest printmaking festival in Texas. Working With A Master Printer

A panel discussion with Debra Barrera, Beth Secor and Pat Masterson, moderated by Cathie Kayser.

Presented by PrintMatters Houston at The Printing Museum 1324 W. Clay Street, Houston, TX 77019 Wednesday, April 27th 6:00-8:30PM www.printingmuseum.org

In 2013 the Print Enthusiasts, led by Patrick Palmer, asked artists Debra Barrera and Beth Secor to collaborate with master printer Pat Masterson to produce prints for fundraising. This was to support us in bringing IPCNY's winter show to Art League Houston for PrintHouston 2013. Six of each of these prints have been found in our inventory and we want to share them and the story of how they came to be. The fine art collaboration between artist and master printer is a unique and fascinating journey. Come join us as Cathie Kayser asks questions that will reveal the process from both points of view.
Donate $500 to support PrintHouston 2022 and receive one of the above prints!
