ULAE: Universal Limited Art Editions
“In Print: Universal Limited Art Editions” celebrates the impact of the New York printmaking studio founded in 1957 by Tatyana Grosman on graphic art, showcasing prints by early icons like Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns alongside more contemporary examples such as Kiki Smith’s Banshee Pearls, a lithograph on 12 sheets of paper. “Prints by Carroll Dunham at ULAE Press” displays prints in a variety of media that exemplify Dunham’s endless appetite for technical and stylistic experimentation, ranging from monochromatic linear abstractions to riotous explosions of color, pattern, and texture.
