Bill Pangburn

My work, spanning installations, paintings, prints, and works on paper, involves considerations of memory and time in response to natural formations. Specifically, my observations focus on water’s role in sculpting geological formations, as well as its movement in rivers and seas. Be it during my upbringing in the Texas Panhandle or living next to the Hudson River in New York as an adult, I have found that water has become the gateway through which I seek to understand the interrelation between these two concepts.
