Rockin’ Rollin’ Prints is back and will be held at The “Infamous” Orange Show!
This much-anticipated event will feature approximately fifty artists from across Texas and the United States! Each artist will bring a carved 3’x 5’ woodblock which will be inked and printed live using a 2-ton steamroller as a printing press. This year’s artist theme is “Perfect Days”.
The oversized prints will then be hung where they will be available for viewing and purchase. An exhibition curated from these prints will be presented at a date/location TBD.
Sponsors include The Orange Show, Art Supply on Almeda, and Saint Arnold Brewing Company.
Event Guidelines for Artists:
2025 Steamroller prints theme is “Perfect Days”
3 ft. x 5 ft. woodblock — 3/4” depth of MDF or PLYWOOD accepted, other sizes WILL NOT be accepted.
Woodblocks less the 3/4” WILL NOT be printed. NO collagraphs or monotypes.
Paper and Ink provided
Artist must be present on day of event to receive a print & volunteer time to a position. (See Google registration form.)
$50.00 (35.00 member) Fee includes the event’s commemorative pint glass and ONE print of your block.
Collaborating artists must register separately to receive TWO prints of the same image.
DISCLAIMER: NO board will be printed that has not been properly sealed more than 24 hours before the event. We reserve the right to NOT print any board that has material added to it that may damage the rented equipment or rollers.
