Robert Straight

Every time I make a piece of art or print, my idea of this artwork is different from the last piece of artwork that I made. All my prints come from my mind’s eye and are drawn up from a random process that drives my hand to create some spontaneous image on a sketch pad. I then scan this into a computer and continue to form the print image from there. Most of the time this image has no underlying meaning and can be food for thought if you want to think about it. I feel that most of my prints are just for fun and enjoyment, to be hung on the wall for the pleasure of just looking at them.
